As many people who play World of Warcraft know, the Barrens is a popular place where many lower levels gather to quest, level or whatever. Random discussions are common within general chats of areas, but the Barrens is special. You can almost always find some sort of weird topic being talked about in the Barrens.
What makes the Barrens so special? Why not Ashenvale? Stonetalon? Tanaris? The trade chat channel in cities is always littered with deals and offers, and the occasional arguement. But the Barrens general chat stands as the biggest chat area in the game.
I've always wondered; is there an Alliance equivelent to the Barrens?
